Hunting the Texas bays and marshes of the
Gulf Coast offers some of the finest duck hunting found anywhere in the
world. These bays, lagoons, and lakes are known as the Redhead capital of
the world. If you want Redheads, then this the place for you. This
environment holds over eighty percent of the world's Redhead population each
winter.
These birds are in prime winter
plumage and are on the top of the list for the trophy collector.
Pintails, Widgeons, and
Redheads make up the bulk of the ducks harvested on the bay. However, it
is not uncommon to harvest more than seven species during the course of
one hunt. Many of our customers consider it to be worth the trip just to
witness these truly awesome concentrations of ducks.
We also hunt ducks over flooded fields and pastures located throughout the
farming prairies. This hunt is a combination for both ducks and geese. Our
shooters have the opportunity to bag both ducks and geese over mixed
spreads of decoys. Gadwall, Pintails, Widgeon, Shovelers, and Mottled
Ducks, as well as geese, are taken while hunting our inland locations.
